Author Visits
Myla and I love to share our books and do activities with children! The books address anxious feelings when children are faced with doing something new, or have fears about leaving their parents.
We offer both in-person, and virtual opportunities. Virtual visits have an animated Myla reading the book and having a discussion that follows. This can be done through your school platform (Zoom, Google Classroom). In-person visits include Myla and her handler, author Roseanne Oppmann.

Virtual Presentations
The book is read to students through an animated Myla presentation. A short lesson is provided, and an interactive discussion concludes the activity. All lessons are:

Suitable for all grade levels from (PreK-4th and 5th to 8th grade)

In-Person Presentations
The book is read to students in preschool through 4th grade and a discussion and activity will follow. For students in 5th through 8th grade the book will be read and the process of writing the book will follow.
30-40 minutes
Suitable for all grade levels, for upper grades the process of writing the book will be discussed.
