Fundraiser Opportunities
Roseanne Oppmann, an author, and her certified Goldendoodle Therapy Dog Myla would love to visit your school. Roseanne is a retired teacher and school counselor. Roseanne and Myla do presentations on her featured books, “I Took My Mommy’s Heart To School,” and “In My Heart, First Day of School.” They also offer other academic, social, emotional, and career-based classroom customized lessons.
If you would like to host a fundraiser at your school or organization to allow families to order books and have them signed by the author, please have them complete and return the attached form with payment to your child’s teacher. Each book purchased will be signed by the author.
A percentage of each book order will go to your classroom, school library, facility or organization.
If a whole-school fundraiser is requested, a complimentary visit from Myla and Roseanne will be included.

“I Took My Mommy’s Heart to School,” and “In My Heart, First Day of School,” are heartwarming stories about a puppy who is facing fears about going to school. The importance of a parent allowing their child to experience life and trusting that they have done their job to prepare them to be capable is stressed in both books.
“I Took My Mommy’s Heart To School,” is the original version. “In My Heart, First Day of School,” is a shortened version. We look forward to working with your school or organization!
